Simple Joy

I have a special place in my heart for different and unique things, which happens to extend to my reading selections.

Red Seas Under Red Skies - Scott Lynch I wrote a review and then it was deleted (not my doing) and I'm too lazy to rewrite everything.

It was fabulous, and I look forward to the the next Gentleman Bastard book.

Mr. Lynch took us through all different scenes that were wonderfully fresh on the mind. Through a life sized chess board, luxurious gaming halls, shark/monster invested waters, a shambled pirate island, to a man made garden (river included.)

I was so fascinated by this book, it gave my mind some strange dreams to think up, but was truly wonderful.

Last point I would like to make, how he developed the characters in this book. Our good friends Locke & Jean are now more than just bad ass, they now actually think on feelings and emotions. You get to learn more about good old tank Jean and Locke gives him some of his own spotlight in this book.

Highly recommend this series!
